News Americas, MIRPUR, Bangladesh, Thurs. Oct. 6, 2011: Head coach of the West Indies cricket squad is optimistic of his team’s chances against Bangladesh, on the heels of back to back wins.

Ottis Gibson said Wednesday he believes the young team has the ability to deliver in a big way in the upcoming series against Bangladesh.

“Some of the youngsters have taken the opportunity and done very well for us,” he said. “As we continue to build for the future, we build around those young guys and some of the senior guys. We believe we are building a team and we are seeing signs of improvement from the players. I know they are all capable and ready to take this opportunity.”

The first match of the series, a T20, opens on Oct. 11th at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur.
