Westindies-Jomel-warrican
Windies debutant Jomel Warrican bagged four wickets in his first match.

News Americas, Colombo, Sri Lanka, Fri. Oct. 23, 2015: The West Indies cricket team began a major fight back against Sri Lanka as they opened their second test match yesterday in Colombo.

Taking the field, the Windies Jomel Warrican picked up four wickets on his international debut to help dismiss host’s Sri Lanka for 200.

It was a major relief for a side that was thrashed by Sri Lanka by an innings in the series opener in Galle.

The 23-year-old took four for 67 on his Test debut, while Jerome Taylor and the West Indies captain, Jason Holder, each chipped in with two wickets as part of a largely excellent display in the field.

When play was halted early because of fading light and the threat of rain, West Indies were 17-1 in reply. Play resumes today.
