News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Weds. Oct. 14, 2015: The West Indies cricket squad is set to face off against a relatively inexperienced Sri Lankan side today.
The sides are set to face off at Galle International Stadium with the threat of rain hanging overhead.
West Indies is on tour under brand new captain Jason Holder. The side includes senior pacers Jerome Taylor and Kemar Roach in the mix along with Shannon Gabriel and spinners Devendra Bishoo and Jomel Warrican.
Among the batsmen to watch are Kraigg Brathwaite who has been in reasonable form in domestic cricket and is likely to be partnered at the top by Rajendra Chandrika, who opened with him in the tour game.
Darren Bravo will have an important role to play at No. 3 and will be expected to hold the innings together.
