News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Fri. April 22, 2016: A new report from the Pew Research Center (PRC) proves again exactly how out of touch with reality the GOP front-runner in the Presidential election is as we hold another Primary in the great state of New York. While Donald Trump and his followers are no doubt anxious for the return of the good old days, the Pew data shows The Donald as usual has gotten it wrong again!
It is not Mexicans who are taking over America in droves. Oh no! That honor belongs to Asians.
According to the PRC, “Asia has replaced Latin America (including Mexico) as the biggest source of new immigrants to the U.S.” In fact. the Asian population which was only 1.3 million in 1965, grew to a whopping ginormous 18 million in 2015.
In fact, if Trump and Republicans on a whole simply bother to do some research beginning with U.S. Border Patrol data, they will see that the number of Mexican migrants apprehended at U.S. borders in fiscal year 2015, dropped to the lowest levels in nearly 50 years. That’s right!
In fiscal 2015, the Border Patrol made 188,122 apprehensions of Mexican migrants at U.S. borders, an 18 percent decline from the previous year – and the lowest number of apprehensions on record since 1969, when there were 159,376 apprehensions.
The decline suggests unauthorized immigration flows from Mexico could be falling. Therefore, Donald, Mexicans are not the ones coming over in droves so who will pay for the big, stupid Trump wall when more Mexicans are going back home than arriving in the U.S.?
The Chinese? Think again!
So much for the GOP’s bandied around BS on building walls and enforcing the border before they can get around to dealing with immigration reform within. But given this new fact, one can’t help but wonder if Trump will now decide to stop Asians, like he has suggested he will do to Muslims, from coming to America?
Will he unleash another shocker just to annoy Asians and the Chinese government?
Whatever, he does, the GOP Party as a whole should be very worries given the latest PRC data. For it is very likely, Republicans will give independents and Democrats a hallelujah moment in November by losing not just the White House AGAIN – but the Congress as well.
So long Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell and you hapless, idiots who collect a salary and perks and do nothing but hate on Obama.
Here are some facts you all should focus that energy on:
1: The white population is not growing as sharply as Asians or Hispanics and even the African immigrant population in these United States.
2: The percentage of Americans identifying as Christian across the U.S. dropped from 78 percent in 2007 to 71 percent in 2014. So much for the “huge” Bible-belt voting bloc!
3: By 2055, the U.S. will not have a single racial or ethnic majority.
And most compelling for November! Pay attention GOP:
4: The 2016 electorate will be the most diverse in U.S. history due to strong growth among Hispanic eligible voters, particularly U.S.-born youth and the 43 percent of non-white Millennial adults, the highest share of any generation.
That deserves an encore so let’s go: “The 2016 electorate will be the most diverse in U.S. history.”
So to all my GOP friends: Loseville USA looks like your only option for eons to come, unless of course your party becomes more immigrant friendly beginning with the passage of comprehensive immigration reform before November! That may give you a slight chance yet!
